Originally from the suburbs of Illinois; Joyce Murphy is a Chicago based Sound Designer, Composer, and Engineer. In addition to her work as the Audio Manager for Theatre and Performance Studies at the University of Chicago, Joyce also serves as the Sound Supervisor for Victory Gardens Theatre in Lincoln Park. Joyce holds a B.F.A. in Sound Design from the Theatre School at DePaul University.
